there's also the box art of doom 1993 in an ancient stone found in primary excavation and site 3 in doom 3,with the only difference being the slayer or rather doomguy at the time was holding a cube,presumably the soul cube,which could prove the existence of the slayer in doom 3

There's also a carving you can see in some of the hell levels in doom 2016 that's very similar to the one you can see in doom 3 with doomguy using the soul cube.

DOOM 3 is clearly a universe which the Slayer visited long ago during the Martian war against the Demons, and the Heroes Tombs of the Slayer might been just a Martian warrior ally and not the Slayer, since in game it was not opened.....Theory me

I definitely agree with you Doom3 happened in a different part of Mars in a military base in mar city. Which happened 2145, Doom (4) it’s happened in 2149 which is years later.
The events of doom 3 did happen, but was mostly kept top-secret by UAC company to pretty much cover their asses from being sued by all the people that were killed.
They probably made up some story that a bomb went off and killed everyone or There was the accident and since the UAC it’s pretty much a Government, they covered it up. and still made the same mistake again letting a crazy scientist nearly destroyed mars and earth again in the other game. but I was caused by mechanical aliens.

Well, I still think those things are simply easter eggs. However, it is kinda established that Doom Slayer is from a diferent Earth before saving current Earth. So, as it seems, there are multiple timelines so it is possible that Doom 3 comes to be canon. I hope so, that game has soooooo much lore to be explored and added to the other timelines.

My Headcanon is Doom 3, Lost Mission & Doom Resurrection take place at the same time, & Doom Rpg 1&2 take place Shortly After, While Doom Guy hasn't been discovered, while Resurrection of Evil is taking place Just Before Hayden gets involved.

As we know, hell is common to all Doom games, which makes the third part canon. And I think the third part is just living its own life without intersecting with others. I also think that in this universe, people were able to escape from the attack on earth. After all, they have already survived two attacks on Mars, and plus, given the sad experience of the Martians, they were afraid to imagine what could happen on earth and as them. And therefore they could, for example, make teleportation and experiments with it illegal

Didn't Hugo Martin clarify in a Tyler McVicker interview that he was referring to some visual designs and added that he meant that they simply took aspects from that game? He even said "maybe I misspoke." when asked about this particular answer during the stream.

I was personally okay with considering them separate timelines, one's darker the other being over the top but I'm okay with this. Hell, it opens the door for potential spin-off titles.

oh so doom 3 is canon? that's awesome! I only knew of the soul cube appearing in 2016 and eternal, but that's pretty cool and doom 3 is a pretty cool game all things considered.

The Doom Marine in Doom 3 is the Descendant of the Doom Slayer. He just doesn’t have the powers (well he starts to once he enters hell but still).

Also, we literally go to the heart of Mars, confirming more about the ancient species living in Mars (but it became a Hellish place in the meantime).
As for Samuel Hayden, he didn't necessarily needed to be at the exact same base by that time, Mars is huge ! It's a planet ffs
