A service animal will definitely be beneficial to her. Because she is mostly wheelchair bound having a service dog even as young as she is can help her gain independence and both emotional and physical freedom.
Personally I don't use a service animal but I have a friend with CP like Dallas and they use a service dog for emotional support and physical support

Absolutely, given the right breed in order to assist her and one she will have a life long connection with. She will know which dog is right for her.
I have a now retired service dog, she was a rescue but did whatever she could to help me despite her being 14 lbs. She started having health issues and let me know when I was really needing another dog. She started teaching my families other dogs to pick up on my episodes. I now have an Idaho Shag/Collie who is currently 16 weeks old, he started picking up on my episodes within 2 days of me getting him. He was 6 weeks at the time and has been a great dog. My retired girl is very content and not nearly as stressed.
I hope this helps and good luck to you and your daughter on your journey.

YES 100% .
I could only see positive outcomes. It could help her get things out of her reach and in difficult positions. Ive seen those dogs stop traffic to let their blind master cross the road.
