I rode the 8r the other week whilst my monster 821 was in the garage getting some work.
Lovely bike, however, as someone with an 800cc V-twin I have to say your statement it feels like a V-twin is not at all accurate.
It’s a great engine but unmistakably a parallel twin feeling.

The GSX8R is another glorified, underpowered, overpriced beginner bike like the R7. Not a real supersport. Get a 4 cylinder supersport bike.
