Red wiggler within inside of the bucket would be more beneficial than this. Also it’s only a 5 gallon bucket it should be about a 10 gallon container. Having the red wiggler’s in your medium, you can bury your scraps along the outside of the container, and the worms will help with the decomposing giving you worm castings and so on and so forth if you’re growing organically, you should never need liquid nutrients for your plants.

Pésima idea e ideal para llamar hormigas. El compost necesita estar tapado, oscuridad, no mucho líquido y altura. Así evitas que los azúcares de frutas y verduras al comenzar las 2 primeras semanas a descomponerse necesitan que las bacterias, hongos, microbios y moscas aceleren su descomposición, acompañado eso de oscuridad, luego comienza su descomposición térmica con temperaturas cercanas a 80° celsius, para luego continuar por otros 3 meses de descomposición por lombrices. Tenerles un acceso de luz solo mata las bacterias que descomponen e impide la fase térmica y es un foco atractivo a insectos dañinos. y para remate el compost sale malo, no nutritivo

Nice idea, I'm worried about it rotting over time or smelling disgusting or attracting bugs, anyone try this long term? Compost tea might work better.
