Love the trust. I used to play rough with rules with a young cattle dog dingo cross. Taught him to move his feet fast. He needed it, loved it. His more dingo dad sat back, watched, enjoyed it, and rolled his eyes. The son always was more of a larrikin at heart β€οΈ

In Afghanistan i was out running in kandahar while my unit out processed to leave. Out of nowhere, this massive dog comes flying down the road towards me. From like 80 meters away, i hear someone say something, and that dog came a dead spot. He was hyper fixated on me eyes almost bulging out with a mouth full of metal teeth. The special forces dude comes jogging up and starts talking to me. The dog immediately changed the second dude spoke to me. Dude and i talked for about an hour about the dog and how the dog was being retired. He was trying to get the approval to keep him. I never spoke to that dude again but i hope he got to spend some non combat time with his dog.

Love this. I used to do this with my border collie. She was fierce but a love bug. You have to teach them to switch it off. It certainly scared a few friends though! π

Met my first malinois in person today, this lady trainer was walking one outside the grocery store i work at. He was a big boi, possibly bigger thsn the ones featured on this channel. Got to play tug of war with him. I'm 6'3" and about 290 and once he realized i was stronger than his trainer (she was about a foot shorter thsn me) he starter tugging until he was pulling me off balance. These dogs might not look it but they indeed have power to them. Loved it, she was even using the same commands you do.

I train myself for protection and I understand every trainer has their way but in my eyes I would never allow my animal to even think about doing anything like that towards me only towards others

This is what I actually call proper dog training with a dog that is based on real trust, respect and healthy relations. Probably the most challenging dog training demonstration.
