DUBOIS Vertical Edge Fill System with Micro UV

This machine is designed to fill voids and defects in edges for a smooth, quality finish. These coaters are ideal for filling porous open grain panels like oak, veneers, particleboard, and MDF. Compatible with solvent based, water based, and UV fill coating.

1.1 One (1) Continuous chain transport system

- Top and Bottom chain transport conveyor with speed matching attachment conveyor chain
- Aluminum backed chain pads with EPDM covering

1.2 Two (2) double sided vertical edge denibber/buffer

- Operator side Adjustable up to 12” wide, back side fixed edge
- Post mounted vertical denibber head
- 12” dia. x silicon impregnated scuffing wheel, buffer wheel to be determined
- Dust hood with 4” connection
- Vertical head oscillation for even brush wear
- Inverter controlled drive provides speed control for brush and oscillation

1.3 Two (2) double sided vertical edge fill stations

- Operator side Adjustable up to 12” wide, back side fixed edge
- Electric motor driven Applicator and Doctor roll drives
- Quick change applicator sleeve design, 1-1/2” face
- Stainless steel distribution pipe with spring tension
- 9” dia. chrome plated reverse roll
- Stainless steel catch pan and drain lines
- 3/8” pail mounted pump and agitator
- Spring loaded doctor bar, urethane dr. blade- Air cylinder dr. roll engagement with stroke adjuster
- Inverter controlled drives provides speed control for applicator and doctor
rolls

1.4 Edge Cure UV Oven Banks

- Each bank to consist of Two (2) double sided Fusion F600 Microwave UV
ovens
- Space for two (2) future double sided Microwave UV Units
- Individually adjustable three (3) position lamp power selector switch
(300, 400 & 600 w/in.)
- Irradiator cooling exhaust fan for each set of four (4)

- NEMA 12 Hinged Door Enclosure, with disconnect, required fuses, door mounted buttons and cooling fans
