I want to see this with ABS there must be a big difference

It's all about surface contact. Knobby tires get the most surface contact in soft or rough surfaces that can make contact between the nubs. If you really think about it, only about 50 - 60% of your tread is making contact with the road.

I still say my near completely worn down D606 was about the best tire I have used on any motorbike including on long highway stints in the rainβ€”- sure it wore down but I never felt short on grip on that super knobby rubber! :)

Was that rear brake only?

Subj: Shuffling some possible recommendations . * Buy an AF/NHRA surplus parachute. * Stop waxing your tires, that is for the bike body. * πŸ™.

Locking up on loose substrate stops faster than locking up on anything solid.

You've really got to tighten up your drive chain. The thing looks like it's going to jump its sprocket πŸ˜‰

i am thinking it is the hardness of the rubber not the shape.

Lube your chain, my friend.

Well maybe try breaking with the front as well and while you are at it replace that screwed up stuck link chain.

75% of your braking comes from the front brakes. Suzuki had a hydraulic anti dive system on the brakes years ago. It used the hydraulic pressure of the front brakes to stop the forks from collapsing. I thought it worked amazing on a street bike, not sure why it didn't continue or take off.

Was that back brake only?

Feet to the ground works :) At these speeds at least.

What football we're talking here? Whether it's 🏈 or ⚽, it's a long braking distance.
