Microsoft has located the issue and have released firmware update for xbox. Self-deleting & missing savefiles have already been a problem for a few other (smaller) games on S/X but they haven't fixed it until now.

The only bad thing I've encountered about bg3 is limited save files and btw if you join a friend's game you can't continue without them now if you were host you have to clear the save files and do a manual save before you get off of it it sucks sometimes because you can lose progress if you forget to to this.

it blows my mind that this game with all its game breaking bugs, bugs to the point that people cant continue playthroughs, bugs that have happened to myself included and have ruined the experience of the game for me and many others. This buggy ass game still won game of the year

Game isn't too bad. Just seems like a major fetish game. Not to mention, playing with friends absolutely Ruins your playthrough if they try to take control or chastise your choices.

yeah junk happens on pc too but its just in a different folder and you just move it probably cant do that on xbox tho
