👀 Not just any landmine lunge: Check out the angle we’re using. You’ll see it better at about 8 seconds into the video. The devil’s in the details, and if you want to try it then here’s a little check-list:
✅ If your right leg is working then grab the landmine with your left hand.
✅ Start facing about 90 degrees from the direction of the landmine, and then adjust a few degrees from there based on what feels most comfortable for YOU.
✅ Your grip on the end of the bar will travel in front of the shin of your working leg as you lower it down.
✅ Cross your non-working leg behind. I like to actually encourage a little hip hike here.
✅ This is a more “hinge-like” lunge with more flexion of your hips and less bend of your knees as you lower down.
This exercise isn’t for everyone as it’s hard to get right. But when you’ll know if you do 👌
