That is why Singapore has a cc limit for beginners. When you enrol your first ever bike license, you start off with Class 2B which is 200cc and below. When you passed, you get a P-Plate and will be under probation for a year and then you can upgrade to Class 2A which is 400cc and below, then wait for another year(without P-Plate) to upgrade to Class 2 which is 1000cc and below.

I started riding last year at age 55. I bought a CTX 700. I feel really comfortable on it. Felt like it wasn't too small and not too big. Great video.

Just bought a 1000cc R1 as my first bike, a few weeks ago, I’m also 27 and a little mature about safety, it’s literally your mindset and the respect you have for the bike.

Even if you learn on a liter bike as a beginner, you're not really learning a whole lot or at least slowing the learning curve down. Body positioning, clutch work, etc is better learned on a bike you're not constantly fighting to keep under control.

It is better to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.

Im 28 i got my license this week , I never ride motorcycle before ,( but I’m good on bikes , like doing wheelies and stuff ) still I’m going to spend 1,5 year on 125 ccm motorcycles to gain experience, I’m totally fine with that.

Even a smallest mistakes can kill y on bike, be humble guys , make it home !

Wise words man. Crashed every machine many times (can't push the limits without learning them!). Learning to ride a bike on dirt is much better than pavement......cause pavement removes flesh quite fast.

I’m 30, 6’2”, 270lbs and just bought myself a 2025 Honda Grom. I love it! This is my first motorcycle and feel that 60mph is fast enough for me right now. I will not be taking this bike on the highway so it’s more than enough for what I’m using it for.

People that say you need to learn on a 1000 are people that enjoy idling in traffic lol. The only thing I like about mine was idling down the freeway lol.
