The amount of negative comments I get under my washday ASMR videos is insane. People say things like, “I would shave my hair if I had 4C hair,” “Oh, you’re punished to have this hair texture,” and “I’m so glad I have 1A hair.” Honestly, it’s so confusing to me because I absolutely love my hair! 😂
Once I found a routine that worked for me and styles that suit me, I haven’t had any trouble with my hair. 4C hair only feels “hard” when you try to make it behave like other hair texture, just like 1A hair would be difficult if you forced it to act like 4C hair. It’s all about working with your hair, not against it. 🤷🏽
