Because without the gravitation pull of Tito's neuron star balls there wasn't anything maintaining them together

Because "rullers of the world" decided that, politicians did it. "It is all about money".

I came to know a Bosnian refugee in the early 90s. He had fled ex-Yugoslavia because he didn‘t want to fight in a civil war against his former class mates. Before that nationalist bs was stirred up he didn‘t even know, if his class mates were Serbian or Bosnian or Croatian. His Generation grew up Yugoslavian. Those who incited the civil war were the older generation who had known fascist collaboration with Nazi Germany. They were the last generation of nationalists who could have waged war against each other. The West supported them to break up Yugoslavia.

The only thing that was keeping Yugoslavia together was Tito. It was already a failed state as the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes in the 1920s, but barely holding, and as soon as WW2 hit, Croats went full nazi and started cleansing the land off Serbs and other ethnicities. If there's something that is always true is that a Slav never forgets or forgives, and in this case it's for good reason. Mind you, Croats were already pissed for having been dragged into WW1 25 years before by the Serbo-Bosnians in 1914 as part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Tito tried to difuse things by reorganizing the land into provinces that would NOT fit the ethnic distribution of the land, but it was all a facade. As soon as he was gone, national sentiment arose again and the borders that were claimed were, oddly enough, those of before WW2, instead of the ones they had had for like 50 years in Communist Yugoslavia.

I went to Croatia last summer and had the time of my life. I visited Split, Hvar, Bali, and Dubrovnik. The Game of Thrones tour was amazing. All the castles and Roman architecture. They were having the Ultra Music Festival, and the event was amazing. I give Croatia so much respect for the cleanliness. I feel that by prioritizing that, it gives the people a positive mindset. It's good for mental health. I don't know the economic situation, but this is a country on the rise with tourism. It is a beautiful country with breathtaking views. I truly love this place. I travel a lot, and no place gave me the positive energy like Croatia. Great people, very nice and respectful. No racism or bad vibes. I was getting hugs, and some people wanted pictures because they never saw a Native American. This is now my European home. I root for them.

Yugoslavia was socialist country, it did not belong to the east nor west block. It was neutral which served as a buffer zone between the eastern and the western block. After the fall of the eastern block , this buffer zone was not needed any longer so thanks to the external influences, the country was dismantled

Yugoslavia collapsed the same way Libya collapsed to put it simple it had nothing to do with Tito or ethnic groups but rather foreign influence who created chaos within the country

Yugoslavia collapsed because it should never have been bundled together as a single nation after WW1 to begin with, and had no internal wish to be so.

Yugoslavia is unfortunate because it's on the fault line between the West and the Orthodox world, and so the Croatians and Slovenians lean towards Rome and Brussels, whereas the Serb-dominated rest of the country have historically had more in common with Romania and Greece.

It collapsed because Germany wanted them to collapse.

Germany, USA and Great Britain made Yugoslavia collapse in the brutal war. Yugoslavia was a 5 military power without nuclear missiles, and they had to destroy it in order to start destroying Russia. Not a single large state is an answer to the Western villains, because it is better to govern a smaller one according to their dictates. Yugoslavia would never have disintegrated if the Western countries had not intervened.
