hi hanna! I am actually Indian! (half scottish as well!) and another thing Iโ€™d recommend is dahl! itโ€™s really good, and it has a lot of lentils and spices, one of my favourite Indian dishes! itโ€™s also good for your gut. But eating too much in one serving can make you bloated or gassy!

my grandfather and I used to bond over this drink. as a suggestion id like to tell you that traditionally us North Indians let the drink kind of marinate under the sun for about 3-4 days to let the flavours deepen and even the colour of the drink deepens to really dark purple

My mom made some sort of thick juice with beetroot, carrots and something else for immune system and iron boost because we have a deficiency in both. The taste was strong of beetroot and I don't like beetroot.
