What’s Bali like during monsoon season? 🌦️ You may also know it as the rainy season.

Rainy season is from November - March and to be honest, it depends on where abouts you go on the island as you can experience different kinds of weather.

Usually in rainy season we spend most of our time in Uluwatu as this part of the island gets the least rain, and when it does it’s usually around 2am and when you wake up, it’s sunny bright skies 🌞

You’ll find more unpredictable weather in the centre and the north. Places like Canggu, Ubud and Sidemen are more unpredictable and you can get a huge flash downpour within minutes of it looking nice and sunny… 🌥️

If you venture north towards Munduk/Lovina, you’ll also notice a drop in the temperature (sometimes as cold as the UK 🥶) so definitely pack warmer clothes for the north when driving around on a scooter.

Every rainy season is different so it’s not something you can predict or know for certain what the weather will be like. This is our take on spending 2 years in Bali and how we’ve been experiencing rainy season, so we hope this helps!
