Tim, I would love to see a roundtable discussion with you, Chuck Missler, L. A. Marzulli, J. Vernon McGee, Les Feldick, and Michael Heiser, and possibly a few others of the same caliber. Something about six hours long; just a casual evening of you guys talking about, and going through the Bible, and dealing particularly with prophecy and eschatology in the context of current events.

Unfortunately, most of them are with the Lord Jesus in glory. But an event like the above, or better yet, a series of them would be great.

I used to be an absolute atheist, along with a touch of New Age Transhumanism. Yeah, a weird combination, but I was completely antithetical to anything to do with Jesus Christ and Christian beliefs. Paul perfectly described my situation, a backbiter, and hater of God, etc. I was all of that.

Luckily I decided back in the late seventies to study the Bible so that I could debunk it to all of the Jesus People that were running around trying to spread the Word of God. So I studied the Bible and listened to Christian radio, especially J. Vernon McGee, Chuck Coleson, Charles Stanley, and Adrian Rogers.

I got saved! I can still remember the day I was sitting in my Toyota Corolla, and suddenly I realized that it WAS TRUE! All of the contradictions and errors that I had been searching for in the Bible actually not errors, there were solid and reasonable explanations for all of them, and the Bible was the truth, and the actual perfect Word of God.

I was undone, my entire worldview was instantly turned inside out. As I sit here now, and follow the events in the world that are happening, and looking at the prophecies in the Bible, I can't understand how people can't figure it out and run straight to the feet of Jesus Christ! It's like the world is a drunk driver speeding towards an unfinished bridge, and ignoring the signs that say the bridge is out because they are too busy trying to the right button on the radio! It's getting closer all the time.

This is one of many reasons why I believe in the Pre-tribulation Rapture. It's really a last chance that God will use to get the world's attention, and the first of many signs to come of the end times during the Tribulation.

Even if the tribulation starts and the rapture is at the end (what's the point of that?) there will be so many things happening straight from the pages of the Bible, that people will have NO excuse to say that they were not warned in time to repent and turn to Jesus.

Ignorance will not be an excuse. You are either going to be with Jesus Christ, or you will be with the enemy, and be lost.

We are here (primarily) to make a decision, to accept Jesus Christ and His salvation by grace through faith, or to reject Him and follow Satan. There is no other choice. As the lead singer of Rush says in one of their songs. If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice. (And it's a bad one!)
