I personally follow the opinion that it is not mandatory, but encouraged. I donโt wear it, but Iโd love too at one point in my life, maybe when Iโm older, in uni or something. I think the niqab is beautiful btw!

โค Sister, I appreciate this very much. Though I don't follow a specific school of thought, this made sense to me. With evil saturating the world as it is, Muslimahs should consider extra steps to protect ourselves and our deen. It is definitely a Time of Fitnah.

Covering face is not wajib. Itโs mustahab (wish) . In Quran and Hadith there is no recommendation to cover the face.

In accordance to the hadith of Asma bint Abi Bakr, The Prophet (PBUH) stated that a womans awra is all except her face and hands. Thus, any extra measures taken to be modest is sunnah.

Allahumma barik, I was scared when starting the video that it would be like many other hijabis and/or niqabis online, saying that the Niqab is just a personal choice and nothing "religiously required". It almost gives a vibe of some of them being scared (sadly) but I fully respect every sister/brother who has this islamic opinion if that is what they chose for the sake of Allah and that is what matters most. Ma sha Allah, may Allah reward your courage, your dawah and your seeking/giving knowledge of the deen! Allahumma barik my sister. ๐๐

I live in korea and i'm also a korean revert to islam.I just started wearing the hijab and i already get weird looks enough and if i was wearing a niqab who knows.
According to multiple scolars it's not mandatory.

I'm from the same school of thought but even if it is mandatory, I still won't wear niqab because I'm asthmatic and need to be able to breathe properly and having something over my nose causes a lot of anxiety. It's the reason why I was exempt from wearing masks during COVID. I just couldn't wear them.

i personally don't care about others assumptions about hijab but as we all know Hazrat AISHA R.A and Hazrat FATIMA R.A used to cover their entire body included face and moreover Allah says to cover ourselves and face as well so i will definitely but niqab inshaAllah โคand yeah sis you are my favourite all the time
