I think your tray came out nice, I have a few suggestions for you. I’ve been making resin projects and products for a long time and you learn a lot with trial and error lol… First, if you wait for the blue of the water to be set up enough to add a clear coat onto (typically 3-4hrs depending on resin) if you add only a thin layer of clear resin, and then add the white lines for the waves/foam instead of putting it into the blue it makes a big difference.
Also, you should wait about 10-15 minutes before adding the white so that it’s pretty thick. Then use the heat gun just at the start of the line always blowing AWAY from the ‘sand/land’ line. This will give you beautiful realistic oceans wave layers like you’d see at the beach…
