Ever feel nervous about receiving feedback on a project you've been working on? 😅
That just means you're part of the human race, my friend. It can definitely be nerve-racking, though!
Receiving comments on your work is like a two-sided coin:
1) We need good, constructive feedback in order to improve and to grow.
2) But for that process to work well, we need our feedback givers to provide their suggestions in a safe way that we can receive, internalize, and ultimately act on.
If everyone "plays nice" in this process, it's only onward and upward from here! 🚀
So... if you're a feedback giver, please do so with kindness, empathy, and a true desire to help the other person improve.
If you're on the receiving end, take a deep breath and look for any bits of insight that you might take and apply to your work to make it even better. If you grow and improve, YOU WIN!
Do you have any feedback stories you'd like to share about times when this was/was not done well? I'd love to hear them! 😉👍
