Iโm from a swamp full of snakes. Iโve know of 4 people but, and everyone of them said I should have looked first. Each one swore after long, painful recoveries, they would never become too comfortable again. Actually, your metal file cabinets scare me, dang snakes and spiders would live in those. Be CAREFUL. Great show

Natural snake repellents: #1 cinnamon & clove oil blend (Christmas scent in summer?) #2 peppermint oil, which also chases mice, which as you know, snakes lay sniff out with their tongue then in wait for. And I think Jess already knows all this too. :-)

@ourselfreliantlife THANK THE FATHER THAT YOU WERE NOT BIT. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR EYES OPENED. MY LATE DAD WORKED IN AN AREA WHERE THERE WERE ALWAYS DIAMOND BACK RATTLESNAKES AND GOT BIT TWICE. I AS WELL ALMOST GOT BIT AS A CHILD. WE WILL PRAY FOR YOU ALL.๐ ๐๐

We where hiking in the Arizona desert with my man about 15 ft ahead of me on the path when all of a sudden he jumped up in the air a foot, then over 2 ft, then back 1 ft & landed. Then he yells SNAKE, SNAKE, SNAKE & I hear the rattle. He said it was on the path coiled up sleeping. I ask him how he moved like that & he just said snake!

I was working on my bosses property and walked less then 2ft away from black tail rattlesnake. It scaried me bad. It was under a bush.
