These joycons are some of the most satisfying controllers ever

And the best thing is is that they're not wobbly and loose. That was the first thing I noticed compared to my switch 1. They're well built.

It’s actually a pretty good idea to just have the joycons disconnect before breaking. As long as they don’t become unstable, seems like an obvious upgrade. Hope they release some new games though!

That button allows you to put sheer force on it rather than just pull force

I like to hold my handheld consoles with one hand. I'd be scared the controller disconnects and the console falls. My paranoia could never

You know what I've been wondering... How is it that it's attracted to the console, but the controllers aren't attracted to one another? I'm assuming it's some form of smart magnet action labs showed off in one of his videos, but it's still fascinating how much work went into them.

This looks a lot like the Legion Go's mechanism!

I like this way more than the slide in mechanism of the OG one.

Those data pins look scary. Is there a lot of play with it? I’d be worried to snap it off if i’m too rough with one of the controllers

Imagined this with a fridge magnet on a fridge how similar and strong when trying to pull out.

Use the eject button on the Joy-Con 2 controller to push away from the magnetic contact located at the sides of the Nintendo Switch 2 console.

This is different to the demo units that Nintendo was showing off at the launch events. They had units that people could actually try to pull the joy cons off the units and nobody could do it as the magnets were so strong, Nintendo were enticing people to give it a try.
Now the retail units don’t have the same strength magnets and have a little noticeable wiggle that the demo units didn’t.

With the switch 1 if you dropped it on a joycon, that little plastic lock would break and then you couldn’t play in handheld anymore because they joycon would just slip off

Would the pins break/bend if you pull them out without the button, though?
