The key thing to remember.. no matter what this guy says.. is that his first voicemail was as the shoeman. This was obviously before he was aware of your tech capabilities.
His reaction was to try to gain your trust by saying heās āon your sideā, he put the tracker in the shoes to catch the shoeman. Not to mention how long itās taken him each time to reply to you. He needed time to figure out how to twist the story on you simply because you nearly figured out his scheme.
Donāt trust this guy, is my opinion. If he was truly in your side, heād be spilling everything he knows with you in effort to catch him.

The gps was designed to turn on when someone wore the shoes. The guy claimed he was was trying to track the shoeman down but how did he know the shoemans size? What if he ordered a size 5 or 7 and the shoeman wears a damn size 16? Thereās no reason for the shoeman to wear them anyway. The whole point is for the person to pick their size and wear them. Thatās how he finds you later when he says the shoes will be recovered one way or another.
