Before y’all say “but it was cold today”
Please consider three things:
1. It’s GLOBAL warming
2. It’s CLIMATE change (climate =/= weather)
3. Even if temperatures are warmer than normal, absolute temperatures themselves can still be cold. As an example in Lake of the Woods County, Minnesota, the average daily minimum temperature for December-February of this past winter was 14.4°F. That is freezing cold. But it was 15.8°F warmer than the average winter minimum of -1.4°F and the warmest winter on record for minimum temperatures in the Minnesota county.
