That was absolutely your fault. You were absolutely off the racing line and you were so slow, that you provoked that crash. You drive through that corner with way more speed and you go in on the outside, go to the inside in the middle of the corner and back to the outside at the exit. Activate the racing line in the settings if you don't know where to drive and when to break.
