Easy Homemade Biscuits (Recipe)👇
-2.5 cups of all-purpose flour
-2 teaspoons of baking powder
-4 teaspoons of shortening
-1 teaspoon of salt or sugar
-1/2 cup of buttermilk
-2 tablespoons of butter
-1 round cast iron skillet
[1] Preheat the oven to 375° degrees.
[2] Combine your dry ingredients and then slowly add the buttermilk to a round bowl.
[3] Butter the entire inside of a cast iron skillet.
[4] Flour a flat surface, roll out, or pat out the biscuit dough. Use a small circular dish or instrument to create circular biscuits. Place around the inside of the cast iron skillet.
[5] Brush the top of the Biscuits with melted butter. Bake for 15 minutes.
