My new baby! A 1977 Blue Vistalite in big sizes. 24x14, 14x10 (original 6 lug), 16x16 and 18x16. At first I purchased the kit as a 14-16-24 and had tremendous luck with finding probably the only 18 in Poland to go with it. It`s a stunning kit, both visually and sonicly. Outifitted with the Remo Black Dots and tuned high, it`s that Song Remains the Same sound straight in your ears. Amazing!
People say how these vintage vistalites didnt have any low end, but it`s certainly not the case with this kit. Sure, the maple kit (which I still have) is a bit darker and thuddier, but the Vista is a beast in it`s own rightfull way. I can`t wait to hit the stage with it and test it on the battlefield.
