Ingredients:

200g pasta (your choice: spaghetti, penne, fusilli) 🍝
1 cup fresh basil leaves 🌱
1/4 cup pine nuts 🌰
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese 🧀
2 garlic cloves 🧄
1/4 cup olive oil 🛢️
Salt & pepper to taste 🧂
Optional: extra Parmesan for garnish 🧀✨
Instructions:

Cook the pasta 🍝: Boil a pot of salted water, then cook your pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set aside.

Make the pesto 🌱: In a food processor or blender, combine the basil 🌿, pine nuts 🌰, Parmesan 🧀, and garlic 🧄. Pulse until everything is chopped and mixed.

Add the olive oil 🛢️: With the food processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil until the pesto reaches your desired consistency. Season with salt 🧂 and pepper to taste.

Combine pasta and pesto 🍝🌿: Toss your cooked pasta with the pesto, making sure it’s well coated.

Serve and garnish 🧀✨: Top with extra Parmesan 🧀, and maybe a sprinkle of pine nuts 🌰 for some crunch!
