No one mentioned how great it is to have a floor bed because then you don't think that there's monsters under your bed LOL

Actually really good advice. As someone with an early childhood degree I rarely see great advice like this 😊

The nightlight that changed color when it’s time to get up is actually pretty smart. I remember when I was very little, I would just tell myself “it’s morning” and get up even if only like an hour had passed. I live in Sweden so you can’t always tell if it’s day or night by looking outside, especially in the winter

I actually like that you don’t have her toys in her room and you just have stuffies and her books! I think that I’m going to do that too when I get married and have kids!!! ❤❤

I thought you looked familiar. I’ve been following you for years. I can’t believe your daughters three years old! She’s adorable.

My daughter still wakes up but comes in our room to cuddle most nights or I’ll go and comfort her if she cries from a bad dream. We do keep her toys in her room but that’s so there’s less mess to clean up in common areas of our apartment. Plus I like the idea of having everything she finds comforting in her room. She can go in there to keep herself busy or bring a toy out to play with me.

My daughter was so grumpy the next day when sleeping with any light in her room. Took the bright clock out and her mood changed immediately, it was amazing!

Our daughters crib converted to a toddler bed which she’s in now. She normally plays in her room for quiet time (she doesn’t nap anymore since I stopped breastfeeding a few months ago and I’m 8 months pregnant so I need the break 😂) so she will play in there for an hour to an hour and a half. Love the idea of Sages room though

In the beginning, you said that you were gonna say things that you don’t do but then you said things that you do do but I think these are great methods to help your child sleep. I’m not a mother but sounds like a really good idea.

amazing advice, I don’t usually see good parenting advice on the internet, but especially keeping the bedroom and playroom separate, especially when it’s feasible for a family to have two separate rooms is super important, is fantastic

I cool seeing someone with the same name as me, cause where I'm from Sage isn't a popular name, I haven't met or seen some called sage in my 15 years of live, it's nice to see people use uncommon names

I did exactly that for my son 20 years ago. It worked so well and there never was a problem to put him to bed and he will always get up on his own and ask if he can get out of bed in the morning. Didn't have the light changing ap back then. But that's a great idea.

I love this technique i think this is called learning with association where u have associated activities like reading and resting with this room. This is a pretty good way to instill habits in your children or even pets

i wouldnt set it to red for sleep (can trigger night terrors/nightmares) but instead use pale orange as it promotes good sleep

I love Floor Beds, I had one when I was little and I just loved it so much for 2 Reasons one was not hard to get out of and 2 I had no fear of monsters under my bed

The no toys in the room makes so much sense because my toddler tends to play with his toys in the dark if he can’t fall asleep. Great tips! Followed.
