Welcome to the YouTube short Classic Hanna-Barbera Treasures, my third installment of the golden years of television cartoons.

Not long ago, I scanned a few hundred artifacts below Gremlins puppets and in front of the original Bat Mobile. I enjoyed my stay at the Warner Brothers warehouse while closely examining a few hundred artifacts. My buddy, Tim Mantoani, helped me photograph the discarded toys that only you and I would enjoy. The toys were incredible, and it was fun to handle firsthand. Barney Rubble appeared in various styles, beginning with a fig leaf for a hat, and Fred resembled an earlier Jackie Gleason.

Top Cat seemed to dominate the scene with tons and tons of artifacts in his name, along with his sidekick cats. The Jetsons appeared in games and toys, but not as much as you would have thought. It could have been too far out and only appeared for less than one year and 24 episodes between 1962 and 1963.

The artwork of Hanna Barbera's golden years is featured in a book, "Hanna Barbera Treasury," written by Jerry Beck and designed by Mark Murphy Design. It is a sold-out edition, probably because of the pull-out treasures and hard-to-find packaging you will discover in this video.
