i used to check temperature and rainfall heatmaps to find a good loocation when i started playing Rimworld. Even now coming back to this game after months of not playng, I always wonder where it went only to be reminded it was removed^^
Also liked the rainfall map especially since it was quite nice to see that rain did get blocked off by mountain ranges like it would naturally. ( That is if I remember correctly... :D )

To be honest, since you can generally tell by viewing the color of the tile its bione, you know its general specifics in term of temperature and growing seasons.
Also height map is completely useless for rimworld.
