Jack manipulates defenseless victims and only catches others off guard. Michael Myers is literally built different. LITERALLY. Jack is a typical psychopathic narcissist who simply managed to reach a special level of depravity because of some arguably misplaced luck.
Michael’s whole origin story and MO is inhuman depravity and death incarnate. He doesn’t fall victim to the vanity and pride that Jack uses to fuel his ego. Jack’s ego is his weakness, the only thing closest to a weakness Michael has is being completely overwhelmed with ridiculous amounts of force. But even then, his resilience, durability, adaptability, and elusiveness… it’s blatant plot-armor! You cannot chalk up everything that has tried and failed to stop Michael as LUCK…
Jack is best described as purposefully delusional. Michael is best described as purposefully a stone-cold killer. I’m half convinced at this point that Michael is partially possessed or otherwise just somehow beyond mortal. And I say “partially” because this isn’t someone who gave up their free will and is now having a demonic entity making his decisions, NO this is someone so evil that the demon or demon*s* just offered up their support free of charge just so they eat popcorn and watch!
It’s a funny comparison, really… Comparing Michael to Jack is like comparing a tarrasque to a f***ing prairie chicken…
