A very mild case of nystagmus can also be a side effect of gabapentin.
People think I'm always having a "SQUIRREL!" moment. My eyes will, sort of like *wind up*, then just start taking off to one side.
I know it's not a"real" nystagmus. I've had that as a reaction being stung by a bark scorpion. Pain is an extreme understatement.

I would love for you to explain the causes, way to diagnose and the treatments of glaucoma. My 17 year old daughter had an eye pressure of 32 in both her eyes with the regular way of testing at her last appointment. Her doctor then did a more advanced test where she(from my understanding) put numbing drops and used dye to take a more in-depth test. The pressure was then 23. She wants her back in a month to retest. Her doctor said that it could be that she has a thick cornea and not glaucoma but she isnāt sure yet. Her vision is fine. The only thing she was given glasses for is mild astigmatism. The reason for her appointment to start with is a he has been having horrible headaches for a few months and everything else besides her vision had been ruled out. I am terrified of her eventually loosing her sight if itās glaucoma, especially with her being only 17. Any information would help. All I keep being told is that I donāt need to worry yet and get brushed off when I ask any questions about what I have been told.
