I took fiber for years. I stopped taking it and along with keto/carnivore, I feel so much better.

For anyone who doesn't believe google fibre in cows dung or cellulose in cows dung. Thank you, doctor Anthony Chaffee!

And the key here is that those microorganisms cannot survive in our highly acidic stomachs

How interesting! I didnā€™t know that! Amazing to think about, even the animals eventually feed on saturated fat and protein!! And they have low incidence of heart attacks šŸ„°šŸ„°

Indeed and We All were told that something as useless as fiber is necessary even so We cannot digest this... It is refreshing to see common sense back.

So a low-fat diet not only deprives us of essential nutrients but itā€™s just downright stupid!!!

Hi , doc. What is your take on ā€œterrainā€ vs germ theory ?I think this is very central. Could carnivore benefits stem from terrain improvement ?
I believe so called tolerance is energy expensive. Wearing us down over the years. Exploding in symptoms later in life . Thanks for your efforts

Quick internet search says cows only in ketosis under certain conditions like right after calving when energy demands exceed their ability to derive glucose from their diet. Gorillas are almost never in ketosis. So say Dr Google at any rate.

If you canā€™t digest vegetable/fruit why do they tell us we can get vitamins from them?

Cows struggle while trying to digest grass: they burp, produce gasses like methane and at the end they have constant diarrhea šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚- all of it because they eat plenty of fibr

So as a carnivore I should be taking metamucil

I get what youā€™re saying. But ā€žno animal can digest fiberā€œ is wrong. The body is basically a superorganism, with the cellulase included. Like you could also say they actually donā€™t digest fat, but some cells or bacteria in their body makes them to protein and ATP. Their microbiome is part of their body.
