Drugs ruined his cricketing career....very much similar to kambli ...he used to have huge support and backing from gavaskar ...one of his favourites but drugs ruined his playing carreer but somehow he came out of drugs after being in rehab and made a decent commentating career later on ... atleast his impeccable command over the English vocabulary with a lovely neutral accent helped him in qualifying and secure a job as a cricket commentator ..
