As a baseball fan, I always saw Kyle Lewis as the modern day Mike Cameron. Very good bat, and could patrol CF with his premium defense. It's so sad to see him get hurt. One day we'll see him playing great defense like he used to.

going back on this video now that the season is almost over, i donāt think lewis has even played in 20 games for us the entire year. heād get a 10 day stretch (only starting against LHP), and get sent back down again. i donāt wanna give up hope on him yet, cuz he still has been raking in the minors this year. just hasnāt kept it up when he gets called up. he really needs to get that bat going tho because he has become almost exclusively a DH

The fact that the Mariners had the AL RotY and a gold glove first baseman who were both pretty much been absent from the team after that point was/is a bummer.

the problem with kyle lewis is that he literally cannot field at this point because of his knees being made out of jell-o, so he can pretty much only be a DH. on top of this, his production has gone down on the offensive side and he can't run the bases very well

Kyle Lewis was the one bright spot on the 2020 Mariners, he got so unlucky with injuries. Best of luck to him in Arizona!

I feel bad for Kyle Lewis. He's just been extraordinarily unlucky with injuries. As a Mariners fan, I wish him the best in Arizona. I know if he stays healthy, he'll be a great player for the Diamondbacks.
