I have endometriosis. Last year i had period cramps and nausea so bad that i was on the ground in a fetal position trembling violently and vomiting profusely for hours, absolutely drenched in sweat, and my mom had to call an ambulance. Later on, the doctor informed me that the shaking i was experiencing was not a symptom of the cramping itself but just because of how severe the pain was. God i wanted to die that day, every moment i just kept wishing to myself that the pain would end.

Food poisoning. Sat for 5 days in the fetal position with a pillow against my chest and my arms pulling my knees tightly to my chest. It was the only thing that made the pain somewhat bearable. Lost 20 pounds in that time, all I could do was sip tiny amounts of water. My wife thought I had cancer.
All because an inlaw thawed the Thanksgiving turkey on the counter, never cleaned it out and then stuffed the bird and left it out to finish thawing until the next morning.
It was the stuffing that did me in. One forkful tasted peppery. An hour later I already had stomach cramps, two hours later I looked like I was 4 months pregnant.

I've had chronic migraines all of my life, but one time as a teen I had one so bad my body decided that tears were necessary. Yaknow, despite the fact I wasn't crying because of sadness. Like, I'm sitting there in delirious levels of pain, with rivers down my face and trying to just survive through it because what pain medication I did take wasn't putting a dent in it.
Then my body just decided to shut out the pain signals. I knew I was still having a migraine because of the tears and sense of pressure and sensitivity to sound, smell, and light, but my brain simply just decided that the pain was so extreme and long lasting that it was junk signals or something. So I was sitting there, laughing my head off while tears are flowing down my face because I knew that I was in pain but I couldn't feel it and it was such a messed up relief that all I could do was laugh like I'd gone insane.

Kidney stone.
Compared to labor AND the pain of having a c-section without local anesthesia ( it's a long trauma story, not going to elaborate...), the kidney stone I passed, as long and wide as my fingernail, had me on my knees SCREAMING. I have POTS, I faint regularily. That pain kept me 'awake'.

the greatest pain I ever experienced was when I was a small kid and on a trip to the store after it had rained I ran across an improperly laid cement sidewalk. clearly the owner of the property wanted to cheap out and didnt put any sort of gravel in it which would give it some form of traction. so when it rains that section of the sidewalk is like an ice skating rink.
I wasnt watching what i was doing, in a hurry to get to the store and back home, I hit that patch of cement and slipped. I didnt just slip I was running so fast that when my foot hit it, I flipped into a horizontal position in midair and slammed into the ground on the back of my head.
My entire vision went completely white/red and when I tried to scream in pain nothing came out of my mouth while my body felt like it was on fire as I rolled around on the ground.
It was and remains the greatest pain I have ever felt. Even getting my four wisdom teeth removed with minimal Novocaine in the same dental session doesnt even compare.

Bladder infection, for those who haven’t had one, if feels like the opening where your pee comes from and your bladder it’s self is on fire and you have the feeling you need to pee CONSTANTLY, even if you just went.
My job at the time was a waitress, so I’m constantly moving, it was so hard to stand, sit, move, and especially fall asleep and not think about the pain, ended crying in front of my boss because of the pain, she let me go home thankfully.
To help ease the pain you’ll need antibiotics, (if in Australia) Ural Effervescent Powders and surprisingly cranberry juice, my coworker told me the last one, Thanks Rina! 💖

Root canal, the dentist didn't believe me when I said the anesthesia wasn't working, she said I am feeling phantom pains, I took her word for it and toughened it out. Well, after the surgery was done, my eyes were swollen and red from all the tears, snot was bubbling out my nose and my ears were sweating, I had dug my nails into the arm rest of the dentist chair so deeply that the PU leather was broken, I explained the kind of pain I was feeling, and her fracking jaw dropped, she realized I wasn't BSing and actually felt the entire procedure and told me she'll void all the fees, probably to avoid a lawsuit.
Second one was a kidney infection accompanied by kidney stones, it quite literally happened overnight, I was perfectly fine the day before, went to a workplace xmas party, but the following morning I had pain so bad I vomited out all of my food from the shock and went into seizures, I thought it was food poisoning from the party, but nah, I was taken to the ER and was violently shaking on the gurney and contorting my body like a scene straight out of the Exorcist so badly that they had to tie me down...
Mind you, I've been stabbed and have been in a brutal car crash, been mobbed and have been hit by a car, but none of those times hurt as badly as the two above, adrenaline is one funky thing.

The dog one is as emotionally painful as it is physically.
