The issue that we have (Speaking as a Carnage fan), isn't "They're never being faithful to the comics, and its ruining it", it's specifically in cases like Avengers AoU and I'll presume Daredevil BA, where they market it and hype it to BE faithful, then proceed NOT to be. People didnt hate the Dark Knight movies for not being faithful to the comics, because they never said "This is going to be the story from the comics" they just take the characters, pick people who kinda fit the part, and make a story with the proclivities of the chosen characters. Like "Venom" while I hated it, was not that bad.... Venom 2 though... holy shit I was mad.
In general, it's not that we hate them for not just adapting the comics, we just hate fucking liars and god complex.

My take on this is that you don't have to be 100% comic to comic panel to panel of the comic right when you're making a movie or television show of the comics. I think as long as you stick to someone of the source material of course add your own twist but make it interesting make the story gravitating that I think you have a good movie or TV show. In the case of Daredevil I want it to be at least someone close to the comics if they do the Born again storyline use it as a baseline script but don't follow it fully of course put your own twist on it because it's already been confirmed that the MCU is a different universe which means it has to have different events and different things play out like the ultimate universe did the zombie universe and so on and so forth

Disney really needs to learn to not fix whatâs not broke. They literally shouldâve just revived the Netflix shows the moment that they got the rights back. I mean let me remind everyone here that Daredevil Born Again was originally going to âsoft rebootâthe franchise and was only going to have Charlie Cox and Vincent Diâonforrio return from the original series. Everyone else wouldâve been recast sooner or later. It wasnât until the Marvel shows started to go down in ratings when they decided to do a complete pivot and bring on the original showrunner for Punisher which brought back Foggy, Carrie, Bullseye, and Jon Bernthal as Punisher.

I personally think it's more really fun as a reference.. and they knew it was going to be a really small role in She Hulk.. but when everyone takes it serious it definitely distracts, becasue in general we are starved for that, and things have been written so out of perspective that we have no idea what to trust and take everything too seriously.. that actually leads to what the producers fear and people not wanting to invest in it. But I do think there are enough people out there with true perspective and if given the opertunity would do it right, we just have to trust that the right person with be Job and thr budget.
