Embarrassing but my breathing... I had bad seasonal allergies, but because I was allergic to many plant pollens and even fungal spores my allergies would start in March and last until September. My nose was usually stuffed shut so I was a mouth breather. But I've got so used to it that I didn't realized how wheezy and noisy I was breathing until I saw a video where I was in closer to the camera I usually am. The sound was so bad I wonder how anyone could keep up with it. In time my body decided to chill and I am breathing trough my nose now. I am still so self-conscious about it that when I am close to people I tend to control my breath, breathe slowly and constantly listen if I am breathing too loud.

I’m half deaf. We need to talk about how loud the toilet is when flushing! After getting my first pair of hearing aids, I about had a heart attack after flushing the toilet. OMG it’s so loud!

I have the opposite problem. My hearing is insanely sensitive. So I hear things that almost no one else can. Things like my own muscles.

I was hard of hearing when i was little because of a build-up of earwax. It was so bad that i was a master of lip reading, but i got fix when i was little. So i forgot how to read lips. But back then, i think it was that people, especially in my family, were pretty loud.

Feel the one ear deafness one. Now I am a menace to any aux cord as I have all of my devices set to force mono audio to the left in accessibility settings.
I also didn’t realize until I was like 18 that people just naturally know what direction sound is in and that they DO basically have eyes on the back of their head to know if someone is coming up behind them.

I have weak hearing in my right ear and when I talk I have to talk up to hear myself clearly but my mom still gets upset because I'm too loud 😭

Not deaf, but holy shit, RABBITS.
I never, in all my life, heard a rabbit actually make any sort of noise bigger than a huff or chewing sounds. Then my cat got her claws into one while I was out in the back yard... The SCREAMING! I would never have believed it if I hadn't heard it in person.
