Not only that. God is an eternal being, which means part of Him is always at Good Friday. We get to go on to Easter but not God. To pay for the sins of every single person and earn them a place in heaven, I would absolutely no hesitation be crucified, and return after 3 days.
Hell, even without the saving everyone part, I'd do it. You're forgetting that Jesus gets to go be God forever after 3 days. That is a BARGAIN.
