We go at least twice a month, spend about $500 for a family of 5, including myself and the list is simple.
Since we prefer food that is organic, we come here or a local farmer for our veggies and fruits, which consists of strawberries, mangoes, apples, spinach, lettuce, blackberries, blueberries etc.
As far as meats and dairy go, it will always be some lamb, organic chicken thighs or breast, wild caught salmon, eggs, grass fed butter, etc.
I get my beef at one of the commissary aboard one of the military bases nearby🥩
We have 3 boys so we usually get the things they also like to eat which will include fruit snacks, baked chips and whatever else they like.
Let’s put it this way.
If we don’t take care of our bodies and feed it the adequate food, we’re doing ourselves a disservice.
Our focus is simple, protein, greens and it has to be organic/fresh.
