From India, ashwaganda, a sanskrit word. Highly used in Ayurvedic medicine, a 6000 year old system of medicine where modern medicine originated from.

Truly is a great natural remedy for those who have high cortisol (chronic stress). I managed to lower my 3 times (did blood testing). I am taking HSNs Shoden form. Most important advice from me is to cycle it. It's best to do micro and macro cycle at the same time to avoid tolerance build-up. For example consume it on work days and don't on weekends (micro cycle) and take 1 week (or more) off after 4 weeks of taking it (macro cycle). I did not cycle before and the effects were gone, therefore cycling it is a MUST.

It works by increasing 5AR, which influences DHT and GABA.

It’s thought to work ? There are actually peer reviewed studies that show that it lowers cortisol. As with any supplement, the quality control is important.

Hi I was taking ashwagandha a decade before it blew up and became mainstream. You could notice the difference.

I've been taking consistently for 6 months, it helps distressing and even for sleep. I would recommend it if I was a doctor :)

The negative emotional and physical side effects caused me to stop taking it. Use with caution.

I've been dreading my workouts lately. I need the latest placebo effect. Is this inexpensive?

The root is the efficacious part and it must contain at least 30 mg withanolides to do any good, as per numerous studies. It’s a wonder herb!

Yes, but does it work in major clinical studies of 1,000,000 people or more?
