To those commenting on the family's lack of English being the issue, you MUST be very American. They were in Paris. In FRANCE.
The Syrian refugee crisis was a globally know issue back then. She had lots of money and if she really wanted to help, she could've put the ENTIRE family up in a cheap hotel for however long she wanted. It didn't have to be her personal room. Thats weird af.
She could have used Google Translate (which existedthen) to communicate with the family instead of live filming without their consent in order ro make her intentions known.
They might have still refused her help because she's still a weird woman confronting them in the night, but everything about what she did was wrong.
