I think you need to watch a video on how hard you need to shake your baby to cause harm to that amount. Because it’s videos like this that are going to lead to new moms freaking out. People don’t misinform people just for views.

People don't understand Rocking a baby back and forth will not give it shaken baby syndrome. That is very violent shaking repeatedly. The head and neck flopping back and forth in a violent manner over and over. Not from rocking it, or riding over rocky pavement in a stroller πŸ˜‘

That's not the kind of shaking that causes brain issues in babies. His head is still supported in your arms and gentle bouncing like that doesnt cause harm

As a mom of three kids, not only is this misinformation because a baby will absolutely NOT be "shaken" from doing this, but this video is just ridiculous. If a mom has bad knees....like myself, that move isn't gonna work out for her. Those are literally mini squats. My fellow moms and moms to be....just rock your baby gently to sleep in whatever way feels natural to you and in whatever manor works best for you both. To ALL moms....new or seasoned, keep up the good work with your kiddo and remember to consistently take some time to care for yourself daily. Even if it's just half an hour to read a book, take a hot bath, do a manicure, or to take a power nap. AND....don't feel guilty for doing this! Mom has to be well mentally, emotionally and physically in order to make sure that baby is well. Just remind yourself that a well mom is a well baby!! ❀

I cannot stand watching new moms literally shake their baby. There’s a huge difference between shaking and rocking.

That baby need’s socks on and a warm blanket around them. Then with one hand, you take the top of the blanket and cover the baby’s eyes so it’s dark. Then you bounce. That is how I got my overly tired baby to go to sleep in a matter of 3 minutes πŸ˜€πŸ‘! That baby is probably cold, and that is why it wasn’t falling asleep

Hey spreading lies like this is harmful to caregivers and their children. What you were doing is bouncing, not shaking. Shaken baby syndrome is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to cause accidentally. Thats why whenever a baby is taken to get medical help for SBS, its pretty much automatically assumed that someone intentionally shook the baby, because the amount of force needed to cause SBS is so much, that theres pretty much no scenario where the baby would be shaken with that much force on accident. So as long as you arent trying to take your babies life, you dont need to wory about shaken baby syndrome. I get you want views, but youll be more successful if you give imformation thats actually true. When we come across a random short in which you spread misinfo like this, were going to dislike, and were not going to subscribe or watch any of your other videos, because youre not credible. If someone is trying to learn about a topic, and they see you spreading misinformation, do you think that theyre gonna go watch more videos of you giving out false info? Or are they just gonna find someone else who will actually teach them about the topic?
