Fun Fact: They tried to come up with a canon reason why Banner and Hulk look different in The Avengers. The reason is that Banner tried to commit suicide with a gun, the Hulk stopped himself and Banner from dying by healing the wound, which included a full-on facial reconstruction. Banner ate the bullet, but Hulk spat it out.

Norton one is false, he didn't appear in the marvel movies because by the time they got around to the first actual Avengers movie Norton was already under contract for another film. At first they were trying to work out a schedule that would let him do both but the filming locations were literally on the other side of the world from each other. And Norton was who suggested Mark Ruffalo when it was decided there was no way Norton could do both movies.
