Glad she is preserving this precious vintage property. She is lucky her family was smart to protect family wealth. If they did the inheritance right, she is still only paying 1963 taxes under Prop. 13, and if no equity loans were taken, or equity was invested at a higher return than loan interest, the house should be virtually free and clear. The majority of those 75k yearly go in her pocket. Wish she were more humble and grateful, and less entitled and affectated about it. Her grandparents would probably wish that too. Barring fire, she is set for life. Hope her parents or grandparents are not placed in nursing homes and she cares for them as they well deserve to be.
