People are so awful. You did an amazing job bringing him love and helping him become comfortable with people again. I feel like his hips gave out when they did because he felt safe enough to show and experience that vulnerability. He didn't need to keep on his toes trying to survive because he felt safe and loved. Rest in peace Shadow, I hope you're experiencing all the love you deserve over the rainbow bridge. 💜

I’m sat here in tears, why do people do this to animals, they can’t answer back and when they do they get in to trouble. Have to say you are an amazing being, your stories move me and you are doing some great things, Shadow got some love at the end which was important for him, you are amazing and how wonderful that another dog brought you through your troubles to give back and help and support us with our dogs, love you to bit in everything you’ve done and are still doing, I’m a follower and looking to get a puppy myself ❤️

Terrible and truly saddening. Please just know that as a first time dog owner, your videos specifically have helped promote the loving relationship that I have built with my 1yr Aussie Max.
Your lessons/input into building those relationshsips/bonds are invaluable to the community whilst there is such a spotlight on dog owners off the back of the Covid pandemic. I hope your channel continues to grow and that your path and vision towards your end goal comes to fruition.
So, thank you for helping me continue to mould my dog into the dog that I always wanted.

Shadow is at peace now. The rescue team gave him the chance to meet kind people and get time with you before the end. That was the best you could do and you gave it. I can see the change in Shadow on the video.

The sentences for animal cruelty are woeful in the UK, we really need to toughen up on this, on the occasions when they do actually catch the offenders

We got a rescue ourselves who grew up in shelter. Never was cuddled or anything. She didn't let us touch her for the first month. She was terrified of us. Slowly however she got used to us and now she demands cuddles all the times and whenever we pick he up she just instantly melts in our hands
