sad to agree and it is a bummer that the gameplay changes to how zombies foundationally was didn't carry over is disappointing. like imagine playing...I don't know, Ascension, Kino, etc with CW's gameplay. it would be so sick.

To clarify a bit more, I really enjoy Cold War for its *gameplay systems*, just not the maps. Generic German facilities, lack of flow. I mean some of the side quests are awesome, like Wonder Weapon quests, Forsaken's plethora of side quests like literally playing on Nacht for a few rounds. That's super cool, but the maps are hollow and feel really bland on the surface. Majority of replayability comes from grinding the Dark Aether camos lets be honest. If the maps were better, it'd be like my 2nd favourite Zombies game of all time!

Vanguard SUCKED but it’s foundational systems (perks, covenants, field upgrades, etc) were honestly not half bad.
