Well stated, Vic. I recently retired myself and have had plenty of time and opportunities to reflect on lifetime benefits of a military retirement. Even though my spouse’s employer-sponsored insurance option is a relatively good one, it’s nearly 700% more in monthly premium costs for comparable family coverage. Not to mention, the lower rates would only last as long as her employment, while Tricare/USFHP lasts a lifetime after service.

I left the Marines after 8 years thinking I could get a job easily. I did, but civilians don’t take jokes very well and it ended up costing me my job so I decided to come back in. Looking for that retirement now and I’m ever so grateful and blessed to have a second chance and my health to do it! Thanks for making these videos

Thank you so very much for your service and your families sacrifices of not having you home all the time, so that my family could sleep well knowing you and your brothers were Protecting us, all of us. Thank you…
