As a person who has a deep connection with modern cities like these, i dont really feel the same way. Maybe its nostalgia bias but my family would travel to the city once a week and itd always be an exciting trip. Whenever i see a modern building nowadays i just feel fascinated by their sheer height and cleanliness.
