We do not have a soul that lives on we are a soul who ceases to exist after death accept in gods memories so that He can bring us back. The immortality of the soul is part of the first lie ever told by the devil to Eve when he said βyou positively will not die if you eat the fruitβ
That is the same lie that churches teach today βthat we will not die but that another part of us lives onβ this is another version of that same lie taught to people by that same deceiver
