I know the spells were all over the place in the first few films but even though levicorpus is now canon if you listen in that scene after james uses expellearmus he uttters impedimmenta 😉

From what source do you derive that Snape invented any of them other than Sectumsempra? If he’d invented those other spells, they certainly got spread around the school in a hurry, and I don’t recall ever getting the impression that Snape was much of a fool. He wouldn’t have shared his own spells with anyone. He was far too private a person.

I really don't like snape. He was the one the one who created these spells. He was the one who used them first and suddenly James potter is the bad guy because the movie made snape look good. Sectumsempra is worst that imperious. Ppl can die from being hit by this spell. What was snape thinking about creating it? And he was still a Hogwarts’ student. Who he has been practicing on?
